[China Nuclear Insurance Realizes Local Model Pricing and RMB Local Currency Settlement] On September 10th, the "Co-insurance Agreement for Insurance Projects of CGN's In-Operation Nuclear Power Plants during Operation Period" was signed in Shenzhen, realizing RMB pricing and settlement of the main insurance types during the operation period of nuclear power plants. This move breaks the more than 30-year practice of China's nuclear insurance market relying on foreign currency transactions, and marks a key step for China's nuclear insurance industry to deeply participate in the construction of the international pricing and settlement rules system. This agreement covers the nuclear operation insurance of a total of 33 operating nuclear power units in 8 nuclear power bases of CGN, with a guarantee limit of over 210 billion yuan.
