[Ford recalls over 220,000 vehicles] September 13th, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) stated that Ford will recall 223,472 vehicles in the United States because the fuel tanks of related vehicles have leakage and loose fixation problems and may fall off while driving. According to reports, this recall involves some 2023 to 2027 Ford F-150 pickup trucks. A detached fuel tank may impede road traffic and increase the risk of collision; fuel leakage may cause the engine to stall or cause a fire. Dealers will inspect the tank strap free of charge and replace it if necessary.
