[Telix’s brain cancer imaging drug Pixclara receives FDA approval] On September 14th, biopharmaceutical company Telix issued a statement saying that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved its new drug application for Pixclara® (floretyrosine F 18), an amino acid positron emission tomography (PET) drug for glioma (brain cancer) imaging. Pixclara is a radioactive diagnostic drug indicated for use in positron emission tomography (PET) scans to identify recurrent or progressive glioma from treatment-related changes and in combination with other diagnostic evaluations in adult and pediatric patients 1 month of age and older.
