[Tesla sets up subsidiary in Vietnam] September 14th, a newly released corporate registration document shows that the American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has established a subsidiary in Vietnam, marking the company’s official entry into one of the fastest-growing electric vehicle markets in Southeast Asia. Documents show that the new company, named Tesla Motors Vietnam Limited Liability Company, has been registered in Ho Chi Minh City with a registered capital of VND77.667 billion (US$3 million).
