[Russian inbound tourists at Heilongjiang province’s ports increased by 76.9% year-on-year] September 15th: Since China launched a trial visa-free policy for Russian ordinary passport holders on September 15 last year, the scale of personnel exchanges between the two countries has grown steadily, and cross-border tourism and people-to-people exchanges have become more active. According to statistics from the Heilongjiang Border Inspection Station, since the implementation of the policy one year ago, the province's ports have inspected a total of approximately 3.388 million inbound and outbound persons, a year-on-year increase of 29.3%; of which approximately 617,000 Russian inbound passengers have been inspected, a year-on-year increase of 76.9%.
