[GSK once again acquires a drug from EnmuBio for up to US$750 million] On September 15, GlaxoSmithKline agreed to purchase an experimental blood cancer drug from a Chinese biotechnology company for up to US$750 million to continue to enrich its expanding oncology pipeline. The British drugmaker said in a statement on Tuesday that it will test the drug it bought from privately held Enmu Biologics as a treatment for multiple myeloma and launch early-stage clinical trials next year.
