[Dabeinong: Soybean products of its controlled subsidiary have been approved for planting license in Brazil] On September 15th, Dabeinong (002385.SZ) announced that the transformation incident of the genetically modified insect-resistant and herbicide-tolerant soybean DBN9004xDBN8002xDBN8205 developed by the company’s controlled subsidiary Dabeinong Biotechnology passed the safety evaluation review of the Brazilian National Biosafety Technical Committee and was officially approved for planting license. The product controls major lepidopteran pests such as Spodoptera Frugiperda and is tolerant to glyphosate and glufosinate-ammonium herbicides. The company reminds that the product still needs to obtain import licenses from soybean consuming countries before it can be commercially promoted in Brazil.
