[Bernstein: Indonesia dominates the global nickel market and the long-term nickel price forecast is lowered to US$19,000/ton] On September 15th, Bernstein released a research report stating that nickel is the least marketable metal in the world and Indonesian policies will restrict the price increase. The agency lowered its long-term nickel price forecast to US$19,000/ton, with average prices expected to be US$17,282/ton in 2026 and US$18,000/ton in 2027, respectively, and US$19,000/ton from 2028 to 2030.
