[Bank of America reiterates ASML's "buy" rating and preferred stock status, with target price raised to US$2,915] On October 8, Bank of America Securities issued a research report stating that ASML's management disclosed in the second quarter results conference call that it will adopt a higher value pricing strategy. According to estimates, every 5% increase in product average selling price can drive earnings per share to increase by approximately 8%, while input costs will increase simultaneously by approximately 2.5%; if product selling prices increase by 5% while costs remain unchanged, the incremental contribution to earnings can reach approximately 10%. Based on conservative assumptions, the bank predicts that the average selling price of ASML products will increase by approximately 5% in 2028, while costs are expected to increase by approximately 2.5%. It raises its 2028 revenue and earnings per share forecasts by 8.7% and 13%, respectively, to 76.57 billion euros and 8.52 billion euros. Euro, related adjustments mainly reflect an increase in pricing of DUV, EUV and IBM products by approximately 5%, an increase in EUV shipments from 110 units to 120 units, and an increase in dry machine shipments from 190 units to 210 units, partially offset by an increase in input costs. The bank reiterated its "buy" rating and preferred stock status for ASML. The target price was raised from 2,452 euros to 2,557 euros, and the ADR target price was accordingly raised to $2,915.
