[Airbus plans to sell its U.S. aerospace business and shift to manufacturing satellites in Europe] On August 29, according to media reports, Airbus is exploring the sale of its U.S. aerospace business and plans to create a pan-European leading satellite company through a three-party merger. Airbus is evaluating interest from potential suitors for its U.S. aerospace business, people familiar with the matter said. Airbus' U.S. Space Systems business includes a plant in Florida and the Arrow family of small satellites. This series of satellites can achieve large-scale mass production and are oriented to commercial and government communications and earth imaging services, and can also meet national security-related needs. Airbus declined to comment on "market rumors and speculation."
