[Scientists directly captured radio signals from exoplanets] On September 24th, deep in the universe, a weak radio wave passed through about 64 light-years of space and time. Scientists from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in the United States used the MeerKAT radio telescope in South Africa to observe the β Pictoris planetary system and captured radio signals from its giant planet β Pictoris b.
