Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra high-definition CAD renderings exposed, rear camera module ushered in major changes

📅 2026-08-26

Abstract:

Following the leakage of a rough CAD rendering of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra a few days ago, a new set of higher-definition and better-complete renderings have now appeared on the Internet, further demonstrating the possible appearance design of this new flagship phone.

Judging from the renderings, Samsung is planning to redesign the rear camera area of the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The top of the new phone will use a larger rectangular camera module. The visual style is reminiscent of Apple, and some believe it is similar to the design ideas of early Poco models. Multiple image sensors will be concentrated on the left side of the rectangular area.

In terms of size, sources said that the Galaxy S27 Ultra body measurements are expected to be 163.76×78.25×7.97 mm. Compared with the previous generation Galaxy S26 Ultra, the new machine has slightly increased in length, width and thickness, but the difference is less than 1 mm. When actually holding the two devices, even comparing the two devices side by side, users will most likely not be able to notice the obvious difference.

It should be noted that the Galaxy S27 Ultra's imaging module bulge is still relatively prominent, and the overall thickness of the camera area is expected to reach 12.53 mm. Judging from the comparative renderings, the new phone will show different design orientations in terms of body outline and rear camera layout compared to the Galaxy S26 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

In terms of other specifications, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to be equipped with a 6.9-inch screen and is likely to be equipped with Qualcomm's next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip. However, the above information currently comes from leaks and CAD renderings, and the final design and configuration still need to be subject to the information released by Samsung when it is officially released.
