"GTA: Trilogy - Ultimate Edition" will be available on Netflix Games mobile terminals (AppStore, Google Play and Netflix App) on December 14. The collection includes GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: SA, with each game adapted for mobile.
"GTA: Trilogy - Ultimate Edition" has already been launched on PC and console platforms in November 2021.
Last month, The Wall Street Journal reported that Netflix was interested in adding a GTA game to its subscription service. It looks like the streaming giant is looking to take a page from its Hollywood strategy and supplement its growing slate of first-party titles by licensing major third-party titles.
Unnamed sources said that in the coming months, Netflix subscribers will be able to play mobile games based on popular properties, including "Squidward" and "Wednesday", and the company is also exploring games based on "The Rescue", "Black Mirror" and "Sherlock Holmes" series.
