In the early morning of March 2, due to a loophole in the coupon system of Douban Mall, a loophole in the coupon system triggered a "scrapping" craze across the entire network. A large number of users rushed to buy goods at almost zero cost, causing the platform's inventory to be emptied. Douban Mall originally planned to launch a Women's Day discount event of "20 off for purchases over 200", but due to a background setting error, the discount was mistakenly set to "200 coupons off for purchases over 200".

Users only need to pay 10 yuan for shipping to get goods with an original price of more than 200 yuan, and the actual payment for some orders is only 17 yuan (such as a product combination with an original price of 247 yuan).

The vulnerability was discovered at 2-3 a.m. on March 2 and quickly spread through the Weibo topic "Douban pluck wool". A large number of users poured in to place orders. As of the time of repair at 9 a.m., almost all products on Douban Market were sold out. Some users said that they "got up in the middle of the night and found a big leak."
