On June 15, BMW customers learned from relevant channels that the much-anticipated new-generation BMW iX3 long-wheelbase version will officially start pre-sale in late August this year and is planned to be launched in the fourth quarter. It is worth mentioning that it is reported that the iX3 may adopt a fixed-price sales model for the first time, which means that the upcoming pre-sale price will be particularly critical.

The new generation iX3 long wheelbase version has been deeply customized to meet the needs of Chinese users. The body length, width and height are 4885/1895/1635mm, and the wheelbase reaches 3005mm, which is 108mm longer than the overseas standard-axle version, and all the extended space is given to the second row. In terms of appearance, the new generation family-style digital angel light wing daytime running lights, 3D radiant grille and evolved Huo's curved corners, combined with nine car color options, are very recognizable.

The three-electric system is the biggest highlight. The new car is based on a global 800V high-voltage platform, equipped with sixth-generation eDrive electric drive technology, equipped with a 108kWh large cylindrical battery, and has a CLTC range of more than 900 kilometers. This is the first pure electric SUV from a luxury brand with a range of over 900km. In terms of charging efficiency, it can recharge about 400 kilometers in 10 minutes and charge from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes.

In terms of intelligence, the new car is equipped with BMW's panoramic iDrive system for the first time, and has jointly developed a customized large language model with Alibaba and introduced DeepSeek's advanced AI capabilities. In terms of intelligent driving, it is equipped with L2+ full-scenario driving assistance jointly developed by BMW and Momenta, which is specially customized for Chinese road conditions.

In terms of price, the starting price of the new-generation iX3 xDrive 50 four-wheel drive version in the German market is between 68,900 and 70,900 euros (approximately 540,000 to 580,000 yuan), and can reach up to 84,850 euros (approximately 710,000 yuan) after options. The entry-level rear-wheel drive version of the iX3 40 is priced at 63,400 euros (approximately 500,000 yuan) and will be launched this summer.
