Abstract:
Recently, a "man-machine conflict" incident occurred in a store in Saratov, Russia. The surveillance screen showed that a customer wanted to shake hands with the robot in the store, but the robot did not give corresponding feedback.
The man then stretched out his hand to push the robot's body. After being impacted by an external force, the robot's body posture changed. Then it made a small jump, raised its legs and kicked out towards the man, simulating a flying kick.
Seeing the robot making abnormal movements, two men at the scene immediately stepped forward and held down the robot.
Fortunately, the customer dodged in time and was not kicked by the robot. It is reported that after the incident, the humanoid robot was taken away by staff and restarted.
The clip was widely circulated on social platforms, and many netizens were curious about the scene.
Some netizens also questioned the possibility that the entire incident was staged, and suspected that it was a demonstration staged in advance.
A more reasonable interpretation is that the phenomenon may be a preset interactive program or an unexpected trigger of a certain set of test scripts. So far, the store has not responded.
