Car Emperor: The 100-kilometer braking test is not an extreme working condition. Many people will encounter it in high-speed driving scenarios.

Abstract:

In response to the exposure of the Zunjie V800 that the brake pedal bracket broke during the test, the car expert once again claimed that the 100-kilometer braking test is not an extreme working condition. Many people will encounter it in high-speed driving scenarios, and it is one of the most basic subjects of car testing.

The video previously released by Dongchedi showed that it conducted a 100km/h-0 emergency braking test on three new Zunjie V800s. The brake pedal brackets of all three vehicles were physically broken during the second to fourth heavy braking.

Yesterday evening, Zunjie Automobile issued a statement stating that Zunjie Automobile’s braking system has completed full-process development and verification in accordance with requirements that are higher than national standards (GB 21670-2025 / GB 7258-2026) and higher than industry standards (QC/T 788-2018). Since the delivery of the first batch of vehicles, no breakage of the brake pedal bracket base has occurred in actual user scenarios. Zunjie Automobile also hinted in the statement that the test of Dongchedi was a "non-standard extreme test condition."

According to Chedi, the 100-kilometer braking test is not an extreme working condition. Many people will encounter it in high-speed driving scenarios. It is one of the most basic subjects for car testing. This is the first time that the brake pedal bracket of a relevant car model has broken in this program, and similar fractures have occurred at the same location in three consecutive experiments, which poses certain safety risks.

Regarding the violent test questioned by the outside world, Dongchedi said that the violent test reported online did not exist, but the normal brake pedal was used to brake vigorously. The "4589N" pedal force value that netizens are paying attention to is actually when the high-speed camera captured the experimental footage. Due to the different refresh frame rates of the LCD screen of the camera and the testing equipment, the captured LCD screen numbers jumped and showed residual images. The real peak value was 1612N. The pedal force dropped rapidly after reaching the peak value, but "4589N" was screenshotted and became a rumor.
