Abstract:
After it was revealed that the brake pedal bracket of the Zunjie V800 broke during testing, a car blogger revealed that Dongmen Takeo, the person in charge of car safety testing at Dengchedi, was bombarded with text messages. A video previously released by Dongchedi showed that it conducted a 100km/h-0 emergency braking test on three new Zunjie V800s. The brake pedal brackets of all three vehicles were physically broken during the second to fourth heavy braking steps. The tester in the video is none other than Takeo Dongmen.
Yesterday evening, Zunjie Automobile issued a statement stating that Zunjie Automobile’s braking system has completed full-process development and verification in accordance with requirements that are higher than national standards (GB 21670-2025 / GB 7258-2026) and higher than industry standards (QC/T 788-2018). Since the delivery of the first batch of vehicles, no breakage of the brake pedal bracket base has occurred in actual user scenarios. Zunjie Automobile also hinted in the statement that the test of Dongchedi was a "non-standard extreme test condition."
ChediZe said that the 100-kilometer braking test is not an extreme working condition. Many people will encounter it in high-speed driving scenarios. It is one of the most basic subjects for car testing. This is the first time that the brake pedal bracket of a relevant car model has broken in this program, and similar fractures have occurred at the same location in three consecutive experiments, which poses certain safety risks.
That night, Dongmen Kennan, the person in charge of safety testing of Dongmen Chedi Automobile, also forwarded Zunjie Automobile’s statement on Weibo, with three ellipses in the accompanying text.
