Abstract:
Nintendo recently confirmed that the loading screen will be deliberately retained in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered", which will be released on Switch 2. This design aimed to restore the rhythm and atmosphere of the original Nintendo 64 game, but it triggered a completely different response from the player community.

In the real-machine demonstration session of the 40th anniversary direct meeting of The Legend of Zelda, series producer Eiji Aonuma personally explained this design intention. He said that when players move between game areas (such as from Corkri Forest to Hyrule Plains) the disk loading screen will appear deliberately to replicate the experience brought to players by the N64 version.
Nintendo emphasizes that this is an intentional design choice and not the result of technical limitations. The replica is scheduled to be released in November this year.

This decision quickly triggered polarized reactions among the player community:
Supporters
It is believed that the loading screen itself is part of the historical memory of "Ocarina of Time", and retaining it reflects the development team's respect for the "authenticity" of the original work, and also arouses the emotional resonance of old players.Opposition
The criticism is that in today's era where seamless loading technology has long been popularized, artificially inserting a disk reading screen is tantamount to reversing the game, interrupting the immersion and game rhythm. Some players bluntly said: "Is it really worth sacrificing experience for feelings?"
Nintendo chose to faithfully reproduce every detail of the original game in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered." But whether players will buy it will not be known until the replica version is officially released in November.
