Abstract:
The DualSense controller co-branded with "Grand Theft Auto 6" has not yet been officially shipped, and pre-sale products with increased prices have appeared on eBay. The official suggested retail price of both controllers is US$84, and the related resale price averages approximately US$140.
Sony recently announced these two co-branded controllers and opened pre-orders in the PlayStation Direct store. The black model is still available for pre-order, while the white limited edition is out of stock. Although the product has not yet been shipped, buyers have placed orders through eBay.
Based on the current average resale price, each controller is about $56 higher than the official list price of $84, an increase of about two-thirds. The white model is temporarily out of stock, making it the main item in this markup resale.
The two controllers adopt different appearance designs, including surfaces with a flickering color-changing effect, and palm tree details molded directly on the handle shell. Sony has not yet announced the "Grand Theft Auto 6" themed limited edition PS5 console.
These controllers are scheduled to begin shipping on November 19th, the same day as the release date of "Grand Theft Auto 6". eBay stipulates that pre-sale products must be shipped within 40 working days after the buyer makes payment; based on the currently announced delivery time, the relevant products have exceeded this period.
