Abstract:
LEGO and Toei Animation collaborate to launch the first "Dragon Ball" building block set "Shenron and Goku". The 1,764-piece display model for adult players is scheduled to go on sale in LEGO stores on November 4.
The set shows the scene of Shenlong rising from behind the seven dragon balls, and the young Goku appears in the model riding a somersault cloud. When completed, the model will be approximately 12.5 inches tall.
This set is priced at 129.99 pounds in the UK. Consumers with a free LEGO Insider membership can purchase in advance on November 1, three days before the planned launch date in LEGO stores.
Before the complete release of the set, LEGO had released a trailer focusing on Dragon Ball elements. Federico Begher, Lego's senior vice president of product, marketing and development, said in a press release that "Dragon and Wukong" is just the beginning of the cooperation between the two parties.
