Abstract:
Samsung is preparing to return to the headphone market, and this much-anticipated new product is now ushering in a new round of exposure. The latest news shows that the high-end wireless headset Samsung plans to launch may be officially named "Galaxy Studio" and is expected to be unveiled with the Galaxy S27 series in early 2027.

Recently, a Samsung headset model number SM-U700 has appeared in the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification database. The relevant documents not only confirmed the existence of the product, but also revealed some design information for the first time. Although the public pictures only show a partial area of the headset and the location of the regulatory label, it is still enough for the outside world to form a preliminary judgment on its overall appearance.
Judging from the exposed information, Galaxy Studio will adopt an over-ear headset design, which is positioned significantly higher than the Galaxy Buds series of true wireless headphones. Leaked information shows that Samsung hopes to use this product to compete with high-end headphones such as Apple’s AirPods Max and fill in an important link that has been missing for a long time in the Galaxy ecosystem.
It is worth noting that this will be Samsung’s first entry into the modern headphone market after more than ten years. Samsung has launched Level series products in the past, but the related product lines have long stopped updating. Therefore, Galaxy Studio is regarded as an important attempt by Samsung to re-challenge the high-end audio market.
The complete configuration of this headset has not yet been announced, but based on earlier exposure information, the industry generally expects that it will support active noise reduction, Bluetooth wireless connection, and deep integration with the Samsung ecosystem. Relying on audio brand resources such as AKG, JBL, and Harman Kardon owned by Harman International, a subsidiary of Samsung, the new products also have high expectations in terms of sound quality performance.
The emergence of FCC certification usually means that the product is not far away from its official release. Although Samsung has not officially announced the release date, based on existing news, Galaxy Studio is likely to debut with the Galaxy S27 series in early 2027. As more certifications and leaks begin to emerge, more of Samsung's return to headphones after many years is expected to be revealed in the coming months.
