Abstract:
On October 25, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced today on the social platform

Musk said in the post: "We are adding the function of long-pressing the like button to send $1 to others through X Money." However, he has not disclosed the specific launch time of this function, nor has he stated whether the transfer requires a second confirmation from the user.
This feature means that Plan X will further combine social interaction with payment services, allowing users to pay small amounts to content publishers directly through like operations.
X Money is an important part of Musk's push to transform X into a "super application". On July 27 this year, X Money was officially launched to Premium and Premium+ subscribers in the United States, integrating functions such as deposit accounts, instant transfers between users, and Visa debit cards. Users can transfer, receive or request payments to other X Money users through this service. There are no handling fees or transaction limits for eligible point-to-point transfers.
On September 2 this year, X further introduced payment services into the creator income system, announcing that the income earned by creators in the United States through the "Original Content Reward Program" and paid subscriptions will be uniformly distributed by X Money. Previously, relevant payments were mainly processed through the third-party payment platform Stripe.
According to the official statement of X Money, the service is still mainly open to US residents, and users need to meet age, identity verification and other requirements. There is no clear information yet on whether the long-press like transfer function announced this time will support other countries and regions in the future.
