Abstract:
Nintendo has revealed the Hyrule map for "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered." Players compared it with the original N64 map from 1998 and found that areas such as the Ice Caves, Gerudo Valley, and Kokiri Forest looked expanded.
This map comes from the official Nintendo Japan website. The overall layout of the remake is still similar to the original version, but there are obvious differences in the outline and coverage of some areas. Among them, the changes in the Ice Cave are the most concerned by players.
Some players have speculated based on this that the Ice Cave may no longer be just a smaller mini maze in the remake, but will be expanded into a complete maze. However, this statement is currently only a speculation made by players based on the map, and Nintendo has not yet confirmed the specific changes in this area.
In addition to the Ice Cave, the Groud Valley and Kokiri Forest in the remake also appear wider than the original version. It's unclear at this stage whether these differences mean changes to explorable scope, scene structure, or gameplay content.
