ShortCircuit accidentally released the Steam Frame getting started video in advance, and then removed the original content. The video was saved by some users before it was offline, and relevant clips are still circulating on social media, which discloses the price of accessories and the power supply method of the controller.
ShortCircuit is a channel under Linus Media Group. This video focuses on the first 30 minutes after the team comes into contact with the device, showing the Steam Frame's packaging list, initial settings and wearing conditions, and conducting a distance test.
The video does not confirm the final price of the Steam Frame, and Valve has not announced this information yet. However, the video mentions that an "ergonomic accessory set" sold separately is priced at $60 and includes an additional headset strap and controller straps.
In terms of controller design, the Steam Frame controller is powered by a replaceable battery, which is different from the Valve Index controller's built-in rechargeable battery.
