Abstract:
A few days ago, Sogou Wenqi, a subsidiary of Tencent, issued a service suspension announcement.
Due to the company's business adjustments, Sogou Wenqi will officially cease service at 23:59 on November 7, 2026.
According to the announcement, Sogou Wenqi and Wenqi Mall will be closed simultaneously, the relevant pages will no longer be accessible, and the Wendo exchange function will also be stopped.
After the service is stopped, the user account will be automatically logged out without manual operation.
Official reminder:
Users must complete the exchange of Wendu before 23:59 on November 7, and unused Wendou will be cleared in accordance with the law.
It should be noted that to redeem mall products, you need to keep your account active and have enough Wendou balance in your account. Users who have not logged in for a long time should log in as soon as possible and complete the activity activation.
It is understood that Wendou is a virtual point on Sogouwen platform. It has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred to other platforms or accounts.
For questions, answers and other personal content that users have accumulated on the platform, the official recommendation is to log in to the personal center before stopping the service and back it up by taking screenshots, copying, etc.
After the service is stopped, all content on the platform will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with the "Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and other relevant laws and regulations.

Information shows that Sogou Asking is an interactive Q&A community under Sogou. It was formerly known as Sosou Asking launched by Tencent. It mainly provides knowledge sharing and question answering services through user questions, netizen answers, and point rewards.
In the era of PC Internet, this type of Q&A community was once an important channel for netizens to obtain knowledge and exchange experiences, covering many fields such as common sense of life, learning and education, and digital technology.
However, with the development of the mobile Internet, especially the rapid popularization of generative AI technology in recent years, the way users obtain information and solve problems is changing.
AI assistants represented by DeepSeek, Doubao, etc. can directly generate answers based on user questions, eliminating the need for traditional Q&A communities to wait for responses from other users.
In contrast, the traditional Q&A model that relies on users’ active questions and manual answers is facing new challenges. The suspension of Sogou Wenqi also means that another old Q&A platform in the PC Internet era is about to withdraw from the stage of history.
