Tesla announced today through the The event was originally scheduled to be held in Waco, Texas on October 1, but was postponed due to weather.

Tesla first showed off the second-generation Roadster concept car at the 2017 press conference. It was originally positioned as Tesla's first supercar developed completely from scratch. Previously, it was reported that one of the highlights of the car may be the thruster solution that Musk has publicly discussed - using cold air thrusters derived from SpaceX technology on the vehicle. The vehicle is expected to install about 10 propellers where the rear seats are usually arranged to improve acceleration and cornering performance by adjusting airflow and weight transfer.

It should be noted that Tesla has not yet confirmed that the thruster solution can be put into mass production. Musk has spoken publicly about the idea several times over the past year, but has not announced technical specifications, pricing or delivery times for models with the feature.
