Abstract:
Recently, Uniqlo launched the Chiikawa co-branded series. Netizens found three low-level errors on the store billboard: the first line should have been a double-capital "II" but was mistakenly written as "li"; the second line of the IP English name was missing one letter and was misspelled as "Chikawa"; in addition, in the description text, the Chinese brackets were also missing half, and the back brackets were missing.
Once the incident was exposed, many netizens commented that "Grass Team" is "so outrageous. No one has reviewed the linkage between such a big brand and such a big IP." "Uniqlo has co-branded it many times, how could it still make such a low-level mistake?"...
Public information shows that "Chiikawa" is a popular comic published on SNS by the illustrator Nagano, and is deeply loved by readers of all ages. To commemorate the release of the movie "Chiikawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island", which was fully supervised by Nagano himself, Uniqlo and Chiikawa jointly launched a special collaboration series.
As of press time, Uniqlo has no official response to the above incident. Uniqlo customer service said, "This problem has been recorded and feedback will be provided."
