Google integrity and signature service is Google Play Integrity, which is a mechanism used by Google to identify whether a device has been certified by Google. Under normal circumstances, OEMs need to seek Google certification before launching new models. After certification, they can install and use Google Play and other services.
Third-party developers such as banks and financial institutions can call APIs to determine whether the system used by users is "genuine", which can be used as a risk control reference factor to reduce certain security risks.
Two days ago, Google added the custom kernel names used by some custom ROMs, including Slutan and Sultan, to the blacklist through the cloud update certification mechanism, which caused these ROMs to lose Google Play Integrity certification.
Google has not stopped adding more kernel names to the blacklist. According to tests by XDR developer @osm0sis, there are currently many that have entered the blacklist.
Including but not limited to the following kernel names:
AICP
arter97
blu_spark
cm
crDroid
crdroid
CyanogenMod
EAS
ElementalX
Elite
franco
Lineage

LineageOS
lineageos
Optimus
SlimRoms
Sultan

It can be seen that LineageOS, the successor of CM system, has also been blacklisted by Google. It can be imagined that Google will continue to suppress the device authentication function of flash users.
It is worth noting that Google is currently playing a cat-and-mouse game with developers/user groups. Unfortunately, developers/users are in the open and Google is in the dark.
Why do you say that? Although developers can easily modify the kernel name to bypass Google's inspection, after all, new versions cannot be released every day, and Google can automatically add these new kernel names to the blacklist upon inspection.
This means that in the future, flashing and rooting users may need to frequently use tools such as PIF to solve kernel name problems. If authentication is lost, some applications or games may not work properly.
