Google decided to do what it does best - rename another of its services. The search engine giant is preparing to rename "Bard" to "Gemini" and will roll it out across all existing devices and services, meaning "Bard" will no longer exist in the future.

At last year's Pixel 8 launch, Google talked a lot about how the company was making sure that Assistant and all its features were rolled into one service to make everything better. Then we heard that Assistant with Bard was going to be a thing. Now it seems that "Gemini" will completely replace "Bad", because the evidence has emerged.

A new leak reveals that Google is actually renaming Bard, as a web page reads: "Bard is now Gemini." This change is not only coming to mobile devices but also to the web version, which means Google is taking this seriously and we will see this change soon. Beyond that, if this trend continues, BardAdvanced may eventually become GeminiAdvanced.

Google is known for killing or rebranding its products and services, and in this case, it's changing its identity once again. While not as bad as Twitter turning into X, it's still something many of us have speculated about given Google's history.

The change isn't rolling out yet, and it will take some time for Google to overhaul it.
