Copilot became a hot topic after the Windows 11 September 2023 update, but it only appeared in a small vertical area on the right side of the screen. However, Microsoft has plans to make Copilot full-screen, and now users can also resize it to a certain extent.

News of Copilot's new resizing feature was shared on Twitter by Shilpa Ranganathan. You can now drag the Copilot window to expand to the left, but you cannot drag it to the limit of the screen.

We also noticed a dedicated button that allows Copilot to appear side by side with another open window. After clicking the button, Copilot will cover half of the screen along with any open applications. If you click the button again, Copilot will return to overlay mode.

One user suggested that Microsoft provide full-screen support for Copilot, and Shilpa Ranganathan clarified that Microsoft is considering the idea. While Copilot is a web view service and does coexist with the Edge browser, getting it to go full screen shouldn't be a problem. If resizing is not supported on your computer, please update Microsoft Edge to the latest version.

Copilot was released on February 7, 2023. In a recent blog post, Microsoft announced its integration with the Super Bowl event. You will see a revolving door of ideas that you are advised to implement using Copilot. According to Microsoft, Copilot saw more than 5 billion chats and 5 billion photo creations last year, and it hopes to make major improvements in this area.

Users can now use DesignerGPT within Copilot to make more fine-grained adjustments to the generated image to adjust its final appearance. For example, the design of the generated image can be adjusted to several styles such as steampunk, watercolor, etc. In addition, you can continue editing in Microsoft Designer.

But when we tried to use Copilot in Windows, it returned the error message "This content has been blocked, please contact the website owner to resolve the issue." Even after repeated attempts, we couldn't solve the problem.

Currently, it is only available in the US, UK, Australia, India and New Zealand. CopilotPro users can now resize and regenerate images in both square and landscape orientations.

Microsoft's Copilot will be everywhere in the future, and it works on most platforms, including Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, all of which are available on Windows and Mac. Additionally, you can use its dedicated app on Android and iOS.
