Hideki Kamiya joined Capcom Game Company in 1994. After assisting in the game development of "Mystery Village", he participated in the development of "Resident Evil" as a planner. "Resident Evil 2", released in 1998, was the first game work for which he served as a supervisor. It has sold a total of 4.96 million copies (2 million copies in Japan).
