Recently, BMW officially announced the power information of the latest generation BMW 5 Series plug-in hybrid version. In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the styling design of the fuel version, but is distinguished in details. The rear adopts a hidden exhaust design, and 19-inch semi-enclosed wheels are available as an option.
Entering the car, the new car adopts a connected screen design including a 12.3-inch instrument + 14.9-inch central control screen, and is equipped with the latest style two-spoke polygonal steering wheel, creating a strong sense of technology. Equipped with iDrive8.5 system, the intelligence is further improved.
In terms of size,The length, width and height of the new car are 5060/1900/1515mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2995mm. After the new car is launched in China, it is very likely that a larger and extended version will be launched.
In terms of motivation,The 530e is equipped with a 2.0T engine + motor, with a combined system power of 303 horsepower and a pure electric range of 103km; the 550exDrive is equipped with a 3.0T engine + motor combination, with a combined system power of 496 horsepower and a pure electric range of 90km.
In terms of battery life,Both models use batteries with a capacity of 19.4KWh, which can be fully charged in 3 hours and 15 minutes.
It is worth mentioning that in order to further enhance the driving pleasure of the plug-in hybrid model, the new car will also be equipped with BMW's IconicSoundsElectric system, which can simulate the exhaust sound while the vehicle is driving.
