According to data from the failure tracking website Downdetector.com, Instagram, owned by MetaPlatforms (META.US), experienced another failure on Thursday. Many people were suddenly forced to log out, and a large number of users were unable to log in and use it. The current failure has not yet been repaired.

The data shows that this situation started to occur around 6:30 this morning. Users in some areas reported encountering the same problem. At one time, more than 5,000 users in the United States reported problems.

It is understood that Downdetector tracks failures by aggregating status reports from multiple sources, including bugs submitted by users on its platform.

Meta did not respond to a request for comment.

It is worth mentioning that since Meta’s global outage on March 5, this is the third time this month that such a situation has occurred. Previously, on the evening of March 20, many users reported malfunctions and inability to log in on Meta’s social platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
