In the race to perfect its artificial intelligence chatbot, Google seems to have decided to start working on making Google Bard more human. After all, we each have our own preferences, things we would like others to remember, and even situations we would like others to know.

When you chat with GoogleBard, every conversation starts from the beginning. This means that if you ask Bard the same question every day, you're likely to get the same answer. But now, Google appears to be working on a new feature for Bard that will let the chatbot remember your important details and preferences.

The feature is called "Memory," and as the name suggests, it will let Google Bard remember specific details you share with the chatbot in order to improve future results. Google even shared some examples of things you can ask the chatbot to remember.

As you can see from the image above, GoogleBard seems to quickly remember things about you and even remind you of things you mentioned to the chatbot. This will be a huge convenience if you rely on a chatbot and regularly ask it for advice. While this might be a bit creepy to some, this feature is great for those trying to simplify their lives.

Users can also add new preferences for Google Bard. You can also delete preferences. Sadly, this feature isn't fully operational yet, but I'm very excited to see how Google develops it. For those concerned about privacy, this feature can also be turned off so there is no need to worry about important information being leaked.

Google Bard's "memory" feature can be seen as an impressive achievement by Google in the field of AI chatbots, and other chatbots may soon follow. But what’s uncertain is how people would react if this feature became standard for Bard and other chatbots on the market.
