Activision has postponed the release of the mobile version of "Call of Duty: Warzone" to 2024. The game, originally expected to launch on iOS and Android devices this year, is now set to release next spring. The mobile version of "Call of Duty: Warzone" was officially announced in September last year and was jointly developed by Activision Shanghai, Beenox, Digital Legends and SolidState Studios.

The game launched in Australia on a small scale last November, before being released in other countries including Chile, Norway and Sweden this year.

According to Activision statistics, 45 million players have pre-registered for the game.

In addition to the game's Verdansk map, "Rebirth Island" will also make its mobile debut when the game launches globally, the publisher announced Thursday.

In addition to the iconic 120-player battle royale mode, Warzone Mobile will also offer other multiplayer modes such as Domination and Team Deathmatch, which are designed to provide players with additional ways to upgrade their weapons.

"From higher-resolution rendering to reduced installation space to improved customization options and the integration of a true multiplayer experience, including famous maps like Shipment and Shoot House, to complete the battle royale mode, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is a comprehensive Call of Duty experience that will redefine the battle royale gamer," Activision said.
