According to the New York Times, the AppleTV+ show "The Problem With Jon Stewart" has been canceled due to "creative differences" between Stewart and Apple executives. According to several people familiar with the matter, the show's staff were notified of the show's hiatus on Thursday, just weeks before the show's third season begins.

The editorial disagreements reportedly revolved around some of the planned guests on "Problems," as well as potential show topics related to China and artificial intelligence, which have raised concerns among Apple executives.
Apple did not respond to a request for comment from The New York Times.
In 2020, Apple signed a multi-year contract with Stewart, a writer, producer and former host of "The Daily Show", who returned to television after retiring in 2015.
The show's title, "The Problem with Jon Stewart," is a nod to the issues Stewart explores in this new current affairs series, with 20 episodes ranging from national topics to issues in Stewart's advocacy work.
