Li Auto registers the "Li Li" trademark, which is expected to become the name of a pure electric SUV series

Li Auto has recently made new moves in its brand naming strategy. It is reported that Beijing Ideal Auto Co., Ltd. applied for the "Ideal i" trademark in July this year.The trademark is now public and is in the status of "registration application pending". Currently, Li Auto is focusing on the L-series extended-range SUV models, including L6, L7, L8, L9, etc., in addition to a pure electric MPV model called MEGA.

Judging from this trademark registration, the new trademark "Lideal i" is likely to be used to name Li Auto's future pure electric SUV models, such as possible i6, i7, i8, i9, etc.

However, the specific naming method still needs to wait for further official confirmation from Li Auto.

What’s interesting is that if the trademark is put into use, L and i will happen to form the logo “Li” of Li Auto.
