Microsoft will livestream its latest Xbox Partner Preview event this Thursday, October 17th. The event will kick off at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT (1am Beijing time on October 18th), and the digital showcase will showcase a variety of new and upcoming games from third-party developers, including Remedy Entertainment, Sega and 505 Games.
The event will be broadcast on Xbox's YouTube and Twitch channels and will last 25 minutes, during which more than ten new trailers will be released.
Microsoft said: "In this Xbox partner preview event, players can preview the content of the new expansion pack "The Lake House" of "Alan Killer 2" in advance, as well as the dynamic new trailer of "Yakuza 8 Gaiden", as well as the boss battle display of the fantasy soul action game "Ming Dynasty: Yuanxu no Yu", as well as the world's first exposure of several games, which will be launched on Xbox/Window PC and GamePass soon."
The Xbox Partner Preview "will continue to share exciting game news from outstanding partners around the world: you will see new game reveals, release dates announced, and new ways to play upcoming games. Even more intimately, during the live broadcast, XboxWire will exclusively release behind-the-scenes development stories of some games."
Rare Studios CEO Craig Duncan has been promoted to head of Xbox Game Studios. Duncan, who has held leadership roles at Rare for nearly 14 years, will succeed Alan Hartman, who was appointed head of Xbox Studios just last year. Hartman previously led the Forza Motorsport series studio Turn10.
