Xiaomi will hold the "Xiaomi 15 and Thermal OS 2 New Product Launch Conference" this evening. At the meeting, Lei Jun introduced,The delivery volume of Xiaomi SU7 in October has exceeded 20,000 units, which means that Xiaomi SU7 will surpass Tesla Model 3 to become the best-selling medium and large pure electric car.It has even become the top three sales of medium and large sedans with no restrictions on energy modes.
Xiaomi SU7 is expected to complete the annual delivery target of 100,000 units in November ahead of schedule and strive to reach 120,000 units throughout the year.
It is reported that Xiaomi cars began to be delivered in April this year, and monthly deliveries have exceeded 10,000 units since June.
In order to speed up the delivery of Xiaomi SU7, Xiaomi Auto’s super factory has currently implemented a double-shift production model.The daily production capacity has reached 600 to 800 units. If calculated based on 6 days per week, the weekly production capacity is between 3,600 and 4,800 units.
However, the current delivery capacity of Xiaomi Motors is still unable to meet the rapidly growing order demand. Xiaomi Motors has begun construction of the second phase of the factory.
According to the plan, the annual production capacity of the second phase of Xiaomi Automobile's factory is expected to be 150,000 vehicles. It is planned to start operation in 2024 and be completed in 2025. Currently, the construction of the second phase of the factory is accelerating and may be completed ahead of schedule before the end of this year.
