During its September direct sales event, Nintendo announced the progress of plans to convert its Nintendo Uji-Okura Factory in Kyoto, Japan, into a showroom showcasing its various products. Known as the Nintendo Museum, the museum is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in March 2024. However, the specific opening date has not yet been announced.

In addition to the concept renderings originally revealed in 2021, Nintendo also showed Super Mario's iconic question mark blocks painted on the roof of the building, and from an aerial view, you can get an idea of ​​how it will align with the planned design, at least in appearance.

As for what's inside, we won't know more until closer to opening, but on the heels of a Super Mario Bros. movie, opening theme parks in Japan and the U.S., and a Nintendo Live event in Seattle earlier this month, Nintendo is about to add another way to connect face-to-face with gaming fans.
