After the successful launch of "Marvel's Spider-Man 2", Insomniac is now busy developing the "Marvel Wolverine" game, which was originally announced at the PlayStation conference in September 2021.At the time, Ryan Schneider, Insomniac's head of series strategy and studio relations, said that "Marvel's Wolverine" would be directed by Brian Horton (creative director) and Cameron Christian (game director), who led the development of "Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles."

Insomniac recently confirmed that "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" and "Marvel's Wolverine" are in the same universe, opening up the possibility of a linkage between the two. Earlier this year, reporter Jeff Grubb shared some rumors that "Marvel's Wolverine" will be a "wide linear" game, which is expected to be a restricted game, and is targeted for release in the fall of 2024.

It certainly seems so. According to the resume of concept artist HungNguyArtStation, "Marvel Wolverine" is targeted for release in 2024.

Interestingly, HungNguy also mentioned the new work of Sony Bend Studio, the developer of "Days Gone", which is planned to be released in 2025. Sony Bend Studios really wanted to develop a sequel to Days Gone, but unfortunately, Sony didn't give it the green light. The explanation given by the former developer is that despite good sales, the media's reputation did not meet Sony's requirements.
