Google today announced the launch of 2024 Review for Google Photos, mimicking the popular year-end reviews launched by Spotify and Apple Music. According to Google, Looking Back is a collection of memories and fun insights designed to help users "rediscover the moments that made the year special." "
Google Photo Review highlights the most memorable photos and videos from the year and gives them graphic and cinematic effects.
Recap will also provide tidbits about the year based on the pictures you captured, such as your longest burst, who you took the most photos of, the most colors you captured, and who you laughed the most with.
Recap memories and insights can be shared directly from Google Photos to messaging and social media apps. Starting today, the Recap feature is rolling out to Google Photos users.
