LG has developed a new floor lamp that can be used as an indoor garden. The company will demonstrate it at CES in January this year. It is an adjustable grow light that can grow up to 20 plants on a tray below it, while also lighting up the room.

It has two different lighting modes: downward lighting during the day, which helps plants grow, and upward lighting at night, which helps illuminate the home. According to LG, the light comes with a 1.5-gallon water tank that "automatically distributes the appropriate amount of water and nutrients based on the number and type of plants being grown."

LG also produces a side table style grow light

LG will also show off a shorter, side table-style grow light at this year's CES, which also places a grow light on top of a bunch of plants. The devices are compatible with LG's ThinQ app, allowing you to adjust light settings and manage planting plans when you're not at home.

This isn't LG's first foray into indoor gardening technology. The company launched an indoor cultivator called the LGTiiun in 2019 and has since launched more compact iterations. LG says its new fixtures have a larger water capacity than previous indoor planters, but it didn't mention any details about its price or actual shipping time.
