On November 18, at the Guanlan Delivery Center of Xpeng Motors in Shenzhen, a Xpeng P5 car fell from the upstairs of the delivery center. In response, Xiaopeng Public Relations responded that after a customer in Shenzhen completed vehicle maintenance normally, he stepped on the accelerator and brake and rushed out of the second-floor parking area and fell. There were no casualties in the accident, but the charging piles and charging vehicles below the incident area were damaged.
Photos from the scene showed that the front of the car hit the Xiaopeng charging pile on the ground when it landed, and the front of the car was seriously damaged. It was also learned from the on-site footage that the vehicle broke the guardrail upstairs, and the guardrail fell and injured another Xiaopeng P7 parked downstairs for charging.
