Last month, Microsoft released a new "FluidTextures" wallpaper series, providing users on all platforms with a new set of desktop backgrounds in dark and light variations. Now, the company has another wallpaper for you. Microsoft Design has released "ImmersiveHues" on X, a new wallpaper series themed around "fluidity and light."
The series includes five wallpapers: Platform, Trust, UnitiledRed, UnitiledPurple and Waves. Each wallpaper comes in light and dark colors to match the rest of the operating system's visuals. Unfortunately, Windows 11 and 10 cannot automatically switch themes, but you can use some free third-party apps to solve this problem, such as the recently updated automatic dark mode or WinDynamicDesktop.
Alternatively, you can let Windows 11 and 10 switch between these wallpapers using the Slideshow feature, which you can access in Settings:
Press Win+I or use another method to open the Settings app.
Go to Personalization > Background.
Select "Slideshow" next to "Personalize Backgrounds."
Click "Browse" and select the folder containing the wallpapers.
Here are some of the wallpapers included in the new pack:
You can download the new "ImmersiveHues" wallpaper series on the official Microsoft Design website:

The latter offers multiple software packages, such as "Abstract Dreamland", "Horizon", various Windows 11 themes and backgrounds, etc.
In other personalization-related news, Microsoft recently announced that Windows 10 and 11 themes will no longer be available on its website. Now, users are advised to download the theme from Microsoft Store. In addition, you can also get a large number of beautiful wallpapers on the Microsoft Design website.
