"Jintang Release" Official Announcement, the "Hunjianglong" amphibious drone developed by Sichuan Tengdun Science and Technology Co., Ltd. successfully completed takeoff and landing on the surface of a small river in the Jintang economic development section of Tuojiang River. The successful takeoff and landing this time is a new breakthrough for the UAV after many successful takeoffs, landings and flights on wide sea surfaces. It has realized a new scenario application of domestic UAVs taking off and landing on the water surface of small rivers.

According to the relevant person in charge of Tengdun Science and Technology,The "Hunjianglong" amphibious UAV has a wingspan of 12.4 meters, a take-off weight of 650 kilograms on water, a range of 2,800 kilometers, a flight time of 16 hours, and a payload of 200 kilograms., this UAV has short take-off and landing capabilities and can take off and land on water, roads, grass and other conditions.

The commissioning of this amphibious drone will reduce dependence on airport runways.It can be widely used in air emergency rescue, forest and grass fire surveillance, river inspection, hydrological and geological survey, ecological monitoring, artificial weather modification and other fields in areas without airport conditions and rich in water resources., which is of great significance for expanding new low-altitude economic application models.

The "Jintang Release" also pointed out that since the construction of Chengdu Huaizhou Airport, it has built a 1,200-meter*30-meter main runway and an 800-meter*25-meter low-altitude tourist runway. Taking full advantage of the innate advantages of the Tuojiang Jintang economic development section, such as the open water surface and gentle water flow, it plans to build a 1,600-meter*90-meter water runway to provide support for water flight testing and low-altitude cultural tourism experience.
