Disney's live-action movie "Snow White" has collapsed at the global box office, and moviegoers in North America are abandoning it. At present, the global box office of "Snow White" has just exceeded US$100 million, with a total of US$143 million. The overall box office shows that "Snow White" grossed 66.8 million U.S. dollars in North America and 76.3 million U.S. dollars outside North America, including 8.82 million yuan in mainland China.

The film's box office dropped sharply during its second weekend of release compared to its first week: North America this weekend grossed $14.2 million, a drop of 66.4%, the largest drop in the history of Disney's live-action films; outside North America, it grossed $22.1 million this weekend, a drop of 50.1%.

According to insiders, this result was lower than expected, considering that the production cost of the film was as high as US$269.4 million.

"The movie must earn at least 400 million US dollars in box office in order to recover its capital. Judging from the current trend, there is a high probability that there is no hope of recovering its capital."
