Recently, Pocketpair, the developer of "Eidolon Palu", announced that due to the impact of the ongoing litigation over the past few months, some changes to the game rules and content will be made as a precautionary measure to show that "Eidolon Palu" does not infringe any patents. This modification is in response to patent litigation, so until the outcome of the litigation is confirmed, these modifications will remain in place and will not be restored to the previous status.

Specifically, in patch v0.3.11 released on November 30, 2024, the function of "throwing a pallu ball to summon a partner" was removed and changed to "summoning a partner directly next to the player". The official confirmed that this change is indeed related to the lawsuit and expressed regret for this, but this was a measure that had to be taken to avoid a wider deterioration of the game experience.

It is expected that in patch v0.5.5, "Use the Palu to glide" will be changed to "Use the glider prop to glide". However, the paloo in the team will still provide a passive buff to gliding. Pocketpair said that this change is also disappointing, but it is necessary to prevent more development interference.

Pocketpair said: "While this change was a difficult decision for us, we believe it is a necessary step to make it more clear that "Eidolon Parlu" does not infringe any patents so that we can continue to develop and distribute the application. We deeply apologize for the anxiety and discomfort this has caused fans."

Pocketpair also stated that it will continue to develop "Phantom Parlu" and provide new content to provide players with a more enjoyable gaming experience. Please continue to support it.
