According to BOE’s official introduction, the second phase of BOE’s Vietnam smart terminal project has officially entered mass production, two and a half months ahead of schedule. The project, with a total investment of 2.02 billion yuan, mainly produces televisions, monitors, electronic paper and other products, and is an important step in BOE's global strategic layout.

According to reports, the full-scale mass production of the second phase of the Vietnam project will help provide customers with more efficient and faster delivery and services, and rely on this project to provide value-added services to global customers.
After reaching full production, the Vietnam Smart Terminal Phase II project will have an annual output of over 14 million TV terminals/display terminals, over 50 million electronic paper terminals, and over 5 million vehicle-mounted terminals. It can provide more than 4,000 local jobs and promote local economic development in Vietnam.

BOE said that the delivery of the second phase of the smart terminal project in Vietnam will further open up the "screen-module-terminal" industry chain and create a center for overseas delivery of terminals.
It will effectively meet the demand for TVs, monitors and other terminal products in the Asia-Pacific, European Union and North American markets.

It is worth mentioning that last month, BOE’s domestic sixth-generation new semiconductor display device production line also achieved full mass production. The project is located in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total investment of 29 billion yuan, an area of 420,000 square meters, and a designed monthly production capacity of 50,000 pieces.
At the delivery event at that time, BOE demonstrated 2.24-inch 1500PPI and 2.24-inch 1700PPI VR display modules that are ready for mass production, a 16-inch 240Hz gaming laptop screen (resolution 2560×1600, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut), and a 14.6-inch narrow-frame high-end car central control screen and other products.
